Looking for a new scale for your games? How about 42mm? Not sure what I'm talking about? get a look at this: link

My Shiny Toy Soldiers Mexican/American War soldiers are 42mm. I loved painting them up in old toy soldier style. Available via Spenser Smith Miniatures.

I know you'll enjoy it. There were no minifigs when I was a kid, and not much in the way of models, but when my kids started with the Lego models, I bought a few for myself. My oldest is 31 and both my boys still get Lego (a small one) from me for Xmas.

For those who are interested, Irregular makes quite a few ranges in 42mm metal.

I'll probably paly some games with my son's star wars figures…with him of course!

Nice!
I've done a bit of gaming in L Gauge, what Lego Railroaders call LEGO train size.

I've tried Brikwars, but found that Song of Blades and Heroes is my favorite ruleset for LEGO. Fast, fun and flexible and just seems to suit toy gaming very well. Though it's also my favorite fantasy ruleset for miniatures as well.

Didn't Old Glory have a 42mm Samurai line at one time? IIRC each pack came with both a mounted and foot figure.

While I do have a 120mm figure in my collection, there is exactly one (a present) and it is staying that way!
