Well that has been a well kept secret. Having recently watched the excellent "37 Days the Countdown to World War I" programme it's a great shame the producers didn't/couldn't mention it. |

an interesting sidelight on pre-Great War history, but of no consequence. With the violation of Belgium by Huns, there was no need to look for an excuse to protect sanctity of the UK. |
