Hello everyone!, as things have been moving along here at Underfire Wargaming we have come across wanting to expand our ranges and eventually introduce our exciting game " Veil Fall" into the market place. However in order to begin expanding our range with all the ideas we have we would need to look into a funding program to fund the expansion of our current Wul'Kin and introduce new starting factions such as the Kyimtaro and Humans.

In order to do this we have come up with a very different idea we have had for a why'll from the normal kickstarter campaign that many companies have been setting up for their expansions. This would be a funding program done right through our own website, meaning we do not have to pay any of the funds generated to another company ( other than of course paypal Wink), and this would also allow us to use our normal paypal payment option helping many who have issues with amazon avoid it entirely. We would love to bring our vision to life and grow our range, and with your help we believe we could do so!

This program we would name the "Start up" program were we would show the concept art of our current planned expansion and have the set total of what we need in order to reach our goal of production of the new miniatures. This program would be set in a way as a steady release set up and not have such things as stretch goals and other such deals as seen on kickstarter and other crowd funding systems. This is due to wanting to expand at a reasonable rate but to ensure we get the current funded items put into production as swiftly as possible instead of the normal several months of waiting time normally associated with such funding.

However before we start this we want to hear from you! Our fans and customers what your thoughts and suggestions would be of this program idea? We would be giving a steady discount on the Start up items, so this would not be a glorified pre order system but a true crowd funding program. Also if we do not reach a goal in a set time (we will announce what time that will be at the start of each Start up product) All investors will receive their full refund (of course with the risk of paypal service deductions, which are beyond our control sadly) if the set time is reached and the goal as not been reached with it. So what do you all have to say? Please leave your comments below, or pm us and we will listen to what our customers and the community have to say on this.

With best regards – Shawn.

Wall of text crits for over 9000!

Maybe a link of what you are currently doing would put it into perspective for those of us who sadly have no idea what you are talking about.

First of all, new company I guess, so good luck with your venture. It's great to see new ideas coming out so often. However, many people don't know about your company and what you are doing, so please provide more information. Thanks!

Thank all of you for your comments, I agree seeing now we should have provided much more information about our current project and our overall goals.

Our website currently up and running and we have already gone through our pre orders and now are open for normal shopping : ufwg.weebly.com

A review video of our miniatures done by none other than Neuicon :

Over all we were just testing the waters on how people feel about a system such as this over a kickstarter, in which we would have to do far more advertising and inform the market when we are doing our program and not. Terrement thank you for the very useful information, we have a partner we are working with for the rules system who has done several game systems themselves that have been received well by the market.

Our own miniatures have been selling well and we have learned many useful information and have developed a strong understanding on how to produce our product in a much more efficient time line and avoid many of the events that can lead to longer launch times than anticipated.

Our goal is to produce a game that is a hybrid of light skirmish games like Infinity ( light as in miniature count, but with much diversity for each faction) and more RPG based wargames and even a few pure RPG influences.

As we are still working on this area we cannot say more than that for our coming goals, this post was more purely to get a feel what the market and wargamers feel about such a system and hear any advice such as what you have sent us the market has to share to help ensure we produce the best products possible. Thank you for your posts we will be looking into those with some more experience in setting crowdfunding programs soon!.

with best regards – Shawn.
