Over all we were just testing the waters on how people feel about a system such as this over a kickstarter, in which we would have to do far more advertising and inform the market when we are doing our program and not. Terrement thank you for the very useful information, we have a partner we are working with for the rules system who has done several game systems themselves that have been received well by the market.
Our own miniatures have been selling well and we have learned many useful information and have developed a strong understanding on how to produce our product in a much more efficient time line and avoid many of the events that can lead to longer launch times than anticipated.
Our goal is to produce a game that is a hybrid of light skirmish games like Infinity ( light as in miniature count, but with much diversity for each faction) and more RPG based wargames and even a few pure RPG influences.
As we are still working on this area we cannot say more than that for our coming goals, this post was more purely to get a feel what the market and wargamers feel about such a system and hear any advice such as what you have sent us the market has to share to help ensure we produce the best products possible. Thank you for your posts we will be looking into those with some more experience in setting crowdfunding programs soon!.
with best regards – Shawn.
