Hi all,

I need to know which 1/72 or 20mm Sherman is the best for easy(ier)to build with decals of at least 3 tanks.

Thanks,
MU7

The pre-assembled, painted ones from Dragon or any of the other companies out there. Second hand ones are pretty cheap.

Plastic Soldier Company has boxes with 3 M4A1 75mm Shermans, 3 M4A1 76mm Shermans, and 3 M4A4 75mm or Firefly Shermans. Decals would have to be a separate purchase.

Italeri also does quick builds for M4A3 75mm and M4A3 76mm Shermans, 2 in a box, with decals.

If you are doing US Shermans remember that many late war had no markings, at least that would be seen in 1/72nd scale

I rather like the Italeri fast assembly M4A3. Better detail than Armourfast, a quick build, and iirc comes with decals.

PSC are good kits but they are getting quite dear these days, and no better than the Italeris IMHO.

You can also get decent cheap decals from Skytrex for 1/72 if you want to check out kits without them.

I'm not a resin fan at all, but I dare say Frontline will be worth checking out.

I wish I could find prepainted Dargon Shermans going cheap. There are hardly any on eBay UK, and those listed usually command a fairly high price.
