"The Stormfang Gunship is designed to dominate the skies while furiously blasting apart all who would oppose the Sons of Russ. This multi-part plastic kit makes one Stormfang Gunship. It is equipped with a helfrost destructor that runs along the length of its fuselage. This formidable weapon is designed to freeze the target to absolute zero in an instant. The two side sponsons can be equipped with a choice of twin-linked heavy bolters, skyhammer missiles or twin-linked multi-meltas. On the hull you can either mount two stormstrike missiles or replace them with twin-linked lascannon."

For a gunship, the visibility in the forward arc is shocking. |

Not a problem with the Autosenses from the SM power armor connected to the Machine Spirit of the Stormfang Gunship. |

I prefer my flyers to be at least vaguely aerodynamic, 1/10 Must try harder. |
Stryderg | 28 Jul 2014 7:43 a.m. PST |
Come on, it's got wings…sort of. The front end makes it look more like a troop lander. aka. Higgens boat IN SPAAAACE!!. |

Yea, the cognitive dissonance is overwhelming… "It does not need to be aerodynamic, it flies using anti-gravity and sciency-whatnot-hokum-pokum" OK, genius, then why the pretense of wings? |
Crucible Orc | 28 Jul 2014 12:44 p.m. PST |
wings are like skulls in the grimdark grimdarkness of 40K. completely unnecessary but they "look cool" |

always wondered how they pick which models they will produce. focus groups or man with big axe says this one and bring me another ale. some of their choices are truly awful (not to disparage anyone who truly likes every thing gw puts out) |

I actually don't mind this one, where I've hated all the space marine fliers thus far. I generally theorize that in the 40k universe they can cancel gravity but can't produce reactionless thrust. Why none of their wings have and airfoil shape is beyond me. |

$81 USD for this! I will pass on it. |

$81 USD for this one (1) model. If I had $81 USD handy to lob at my hobby right this moment, what could I do with, say 15mm from Khurasan, or even GZG across the pond…? Gee, let me THINK! Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net |

I'm going to join in the general mockery of this. At no price point would that grace an army of mine. I don't see how sticking a flying stand on a Land Raider makes something a flyer. Leigh |

BlackWidowPilot | 29 Jul 2014 12:46 p.m. PST |
Or Hobbylink Japan evil grin Maen, Brother Lion! Hallelujah!! I mean, seriously, I might as well add $13 USD to the cost and pick up one of these gorgeous monsters to convert to a 15mm alien landing boat/grounded scout ship/strike boat:
I mean seriously, I have the Garmilas S-type battleship kit which is impressive all on its lonesome, but this beast of Greater Garmilas simply dwarfs my poor lil' ole capital ship like a semi truck alongside a Prius…
