So about two weeks ago, I got a wild urge to add some more lead to my mountain of unpainted miniatures, and decided the newest additions would be in the form of some modern/sci-fi miniatures that may or may not pay homage to a certain time-traveling PHD.

I placed three orders from 3 different companies over the course of a few days to get the selection of figures I wanted. I am still waiting upon the third order (the last placed) and the first to arrive did so in good time in a nice and succinct manner….

But then when the order from Heresy Miniatures showed up, only a day after the first order…. I was hugely impressed! The seller included a small personal hand written note on pamphlet for the company (including pamphlets is typical, the hand written salutation was a nice added touch).. But also the note mentioned that he hope I enjoy the small sample of "jelly babies" included if they had not melted. I had not gotten past the paper and other wrappings yet, so I was confused by this. Well after digging deeper into the small parcel, I did indeed find a small zip-top baggy of "jelly babies" in the package.

Now while not impossible to find these confections in the US, they generally are only obtainable by going far out of one's way to a specialty store, or mail order. And since candy tends to be an impulse item and not a planned purchase, I have not had these tasty treats since I moved over 7 years ago.

While this is a whole lot of words over a very simple small thing, I was just so impressed and touched by the little gesture, I had to share the unbelievable great service I received from this seller!

Thanks Heresy Miniatures!

Jelly babies really are the bomb as far as jelly candy is concerned. The only thing in the US that touches them are Swedish Fish.

Jelly Babies from Heresy and Tea from North Star. All we need is for Hasselfree to send Jerky and we could live off the hobby.

Yip the guy from Heresy always does this and that's one of the reasons I buy from him the others are in no order his stuff is superb and he really is a nice chap. So make his day to and order from him. PS I'm looking to getting some of his Scifi troopers soon, perfect for most scifi games. Cheers

I thought this was going to be about Hershey Miniatures from their chocolate factory in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

I don't know about giving it away but we may start selling jerky soon Fabe.

Just an odd little coincidence.
