hi.just looking for illustrations or ideas on how to represent chained gunes for my Turks.where the chains attached to the wheel hubs or stakes in front of the battery?

An artillery line during the Battle of Mohacs, from the from the Süleymanname
The artist seems to have taken license so that the chains or ropes can be seen, but short lengths attach to the wheel rim rather than the hub with a long length behind and perhaps another in front.
