Mulhouse is the first scenario in the forthcoming GWSH scenario book. We played this last night a s apart of our acknowledgement of the outbreak of WW1. Here is the AAR: link

K Yep.. know the feeling. Most of my WW1 over recent years has been 20mm figure painting, but I need to expand the 6mm armies as well. This game reminded me of how much I love these games and this rules set. R |

I'm with you there, kyotebluer than blue. I've only 'discovered' GWSH II in the past fortnight – but it's caused a frenzied 'mobilisation' here (compared to my usual efforts). Working in 6mm has made it do-able, but I've got terrain to consider as well. Great AAR, Robin – looking forward to that scenario book! |

Visually I think GWSH II is best suited to 3 or 6mm but that is just a personal thing. I have played games with 10, 15 and 20 mm figures. All have been enjoyable and even the 20mm figures work really well. The only problem is the length of the bases needed to accommodate artillery batteries and some larger vehicles. This does not detract from the game play though. Robert |
