Battlefront is previewing their box set for WWI Germans. Contents are listed below. Two tanks are included in the Panzer Platoon. I think the photos of the products look really good.

Biltz's Battlegroup (GGEAB1)
includes 36-page Great War rules supplement, one Infanteriekompanie HQ, two Infanterie Platoons, one Infanterie Machine-gun Platoon, one Infantry Gun Platoon, & one Panzer Platoon (with decal sheet).

The link shows 2 A7V tanks in the box set. Good grief! The Germans only made 20!
I guess BF needs to warp history to sell expensive models. It would make more sense to put appropriate anti-tank guns in the set instead.

Three A7V tanks famously dueled three Mark IV tanks at Villers-Bretonneux in 1918.

Fgdenlulimus….but that's gaming…there are more french old Guard in exstence than you can shake a stick at! Ever seen more Maus tanks? Other oddities??

Yes, it happened once.

The bulk of the German tank force were captured British tanks, which were bit less prone to roll over into the nearest ditch.

The FoW version of WWI will feature the BIGSEXYTANKS they said as much in their podcast. Apparently, you will only play the battles where there was a high concentration of tanks.

Apart from the nice MG 08/15 theres nothing amongst the FoW German infantry that says 'buy me' to supplement or replace my Peter Pig Germans. Especially as Martin has some nice Stormtrooper packs.

However it is a nice all in one package which Im sure will be popular.

Watching brief on the Brits begins…..

Cheers

Well good luck to them. The infantry sculpts for both nations do look very well executed. It does make a change from WW2. I must admit I will be partaking.

Now how about "Cold War Gone Hot" for a range, lots of tanks there!!
