Hi Folks.

I need to work on my tan so I'm gonna be doing a little Staycation out to Treasure Island on the gulf coast here in Florida, near Clearwater, next week. So I'm hoping to check out some gaming stores in the area if there are any. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Emerald City Comics is the only one I know of in the area. I haven't been to the St. Pete/Clearwater area in many year, so I don't know what they are carring now.

Nothing with historical miniatures that I know of and I live in the area.

Emerald City is great for comic books, action figures, collectible games, X wing, board games, 40K, RPG's ETC.

There are a couple of other stores, but everything is pre-painted stuff, GW, or Privateer.

Well I'm not into historical gaming anyway. I enjoy more of the SciFi/Fantasy gaming. So what ever you guys can come up with is fine.

It's a pity that Modeler's Mart, in Clearwater, is no longer in business.

I ordered from them several times back in late 1988 and 1989.

They carried a lot of merchandise unavailable from other suppliers.

To bad I'll miss the Suncoast games as I'll only be there for the week. I appreciate the input though. Keep it coming if anyone can think of anything else.
