Added Monorail to by designs. Will do a base pack with 3 carriages, some track & a few raised stops.
Edit:
Forgot to note that the curve is 100cm diameter. It had to be fairly large for the curve to work with the trough under carriage. Regards MMG. |

Superb. I need one of these. In fact, every town needs a monorail. |

cool idea, that would make a GREAT terrain feature. don't like the jigaw puzzle look of the pieces though…. |

Will you do a 28mm version, too? (I assume these are 15mm.) |
Mad Mecha Guy | 24 Jul 2014 11:41 p.m. PST |
I might do a 28mm version but with the diameter of the curve for 28mm, I would need to alter undercarriage design to allow tighter curve. I will add the 15mm version to my site shortly, once designed the stops. Regards MMG |

Another "please" for a 28mm version (and of a lot of your other stuff as well). |

For what it is worth… i would be content with a straight version of the rail in 28mm! |

You need to make a station for it now, too. An elevated monorail station would make an excellent observation post/sniper's nest. |

When this is released I'll be picking up other stuff too |

Just about got the stop design done. With the 15cm length carriage the platform is 25cm to cover 2 doors. The platform sits on a 6Dx3cmW tower with 30deg Ramp. Have modified the track pillars to make them narrower than the track as carriages would catch on curve pillars. Depending on how much the platforms take up will have: two or three stops, 3 Carriages, 8 x 20cm straights, 1 x 30cm straight, 3 x 45deg curves, 2 x 22.5deg curves & 29 track pillars. With the amount of cutting involve pack will be around £30.00 GBP-35. Really do need a 100-150w laser. Now should I make an aerial turntable? A station would need to be around 45cm long to service Three carriage trains. Edit: Might, space permitting & if wanted, include some benches than fit along outside wall of carriage (mostly standing room only). Regards MMG. |

don't like the jigaw puzzle look of the pieces though…. You wouldn't paint? Doug |

I would like one in 28mm too. In my case, a long straight track with maybe a single gentle curve would meet the needs. Lost Pict |

Have done some basic designing of the 28mm version, if using rotating bogeys near either end can keep to 100cm Diameter curve.
Have finished design for 15mm Stops, due to size only get 2 in the base pack, but get a couple of extra track sections.
I'm working on 2 track/3 platform station (around 50cm long). Had some swear words on designing the support system for the track, as did not want to use same pillars. Regards MMG. [jigsawians rulez.] |
