Might be the proverbial needle in a haystack, but I am looking for a source for 15mm South American civilians. These would mostly be rural/agricultural types, with maybe a few village/town folks as well. Does such a thing exist? Would Wild West figures suffice or are those too early?

Try Peter Pigs AK47 range which contains 'African' civilians of different types. If necessary, use the PP separate heads to modify. PP also have Europeans in their WWII range for townsfolk, as does Battlefront.

I think you should look through the different Blue Moon 15mm/18mm ranges to see they offer anything you could use. Blue Moon offers more 15mm/18mm civilian figures than most manufacturers. If you don't find exactly what you're looking for, you might find something you could make work with a little modification. I used their African villagers for my Aztec villagers… just required a change of hair style and some creative painting. Richard

I was going to suggest Western figures. Rural Central Americans from the 1970s wore jeans, cowboy hats, and sometimes vests.

Peter Pig might work the best, the Blue Moon range might be too tall. I should have been a bit more specific, I am using Khurasan and Irregular Chaco War figs and civilians should be able to blend in with those two ranges.

I was going to say pick up some 15mm Mexican peasants, but after spending some time on Google there really isn't much is there?

Hi Buckeye AKA Darryl

Have a look at Colonial ranges for Boers and Boxer Rebellion types. Peter Pig's western range has armed Mexicans, and civilians. Eureka does Filipino figures which might be handy
