Part of a 15mm range for that fateful year, sculpted by Mike Broadbent. Six poses in the midst of the "Mad Minute," six poses advancing. All with the SMLE of course. Non-comms, officers, machine gun and field piece all being made next--the field piece will be supplied with both 13lb and 18lb barrels. The two sets below mix quite nicely, giving you twelve unique poses of riflemen.
1914 French and Germans are done, at least the core sets. After the British, the Russians will get their core sets as well--dolly's already made. First French sets being released very soon…. |

it's not my scale, for this period, but I do like Khurasan's sci-fi figs and these look to be worthy companions in a historical mode. Now, don't forget the Scotties! |

Thanks guys -- French riflemen will be released soon, followed very soon after by the rest of the French and the Germans. |

I think they run on the larger size of the spectrum. |

If they're comparable to most of Khurasan's other 15mm minis, they're a bit large, but not obscenely so. Not like putting Rebel Minis, Highlander, and Peter Pig colonials together… |

Despite the lack of clarity of the photo, overall look good, though personally I would have preferred 6 poses in SD cap for English/Irish regiments and the other 6 as Lowland or Highland Scots. Cheers MARK |

Highlanders in glengarry, hose tops and kilt will be made as well, for the 1914 BEF. |

Nice work, there's a good choice of ranges at thus scale. Intriguingly I've yet to see a figure reloading with his SMLE still at his shoulder. |

Jon, an excellent choice. I've been trying to put off plunging into this period of the Great War as I am already well in on the 1916-18 Western Front in 1/72 scale, but the fancy French uniforms are too fun (and tragically, their tactics in 1914 just as outrageous!), so just perhaps you'll be the one to coax me into a new scale for the Guns of August… Will the French forces released include cavalry and troops from the Armee d'Afrique?
