I think I've heard of this before, but some recently examined footprints seem to suggests Tyrannosaurs travelled in packs. link There's a picture of a human foot by one of the prints – the dinosaur print seems small compared to my nightmarish vision of Tyrannosaurus Rex and a recent trip to the ROM. Your memory isn't faulty. Carnosaurs don't walk flat footed. They walk on their toes, so normally only the front part of the foot would leave a track. There's a lot more foot your not seeing and a whole lot meat eater attached to it. |
