The ambiguity about this is causing huge damage; clarification is required to bring it to a halt.

Personally, I could not care less what Bill's involvement as long as it is legal. However, it is becoming ever clearer that the truth is somewhat obscured and that is an issue that needs to be addressed.

I'm here not to defend Bill, but to remind everyone of my rights. As an editor and as a normal individual, I have my right to privacy. Whatever I may be doing in my private life, as long as I know to myself that what I'm doing is not wrong, it's none of your business. I am here for work, and I never dreamed of being the center of ridicule. Hope you will respect me and the other editors, because we are doing nothing wrong. We are still humans who are vulnerable to being hurt. And lastly, we may have flaws, but we can assure you we are doing our best for this job.

Yes. It's been happening since the first person was banned from TMP years ago. When something out there is nice, some people have to destroy it because they just cannot handle the idea of other people being happy.

Bill – to be honest I couldn't care less what else you might get up to on the web nor where you might have found the recent co-editors. If you're not hurting anyone then its your business.

But since prolific members such as Sparker are saying they won't return and the information Frothers has unearthed has gotten a LOT of your own members wondering why don't you just confirm or deny and put the whole thing to bed?

The central plank of the Frothers accusation is that you also own and run a particular non-gaming site under a pseudonym.

If it's untrue that you and this other webmaster are the same person just say so and Frothers case crumbles into dust and everyone goes back to normality.

If it is true then, well, people will point and giggle for a bit but you will have broken no laws and can rightfully say "screw you".

But to keep trying to keep a lid on it by manically editing other people's posts and banning them simply adds fuel to the fire.

It does appear that you determined to keep going down a path that will cause you much trouble, when you could stop all of this by just stopping the secrecy, answering a few simple questions which would not damage the privacy of anyone, and being straightforward.

However, as you will not do so, I wish you luck; I just hope that TMP survives as it is a great resource.

By the way, for the Frothers, please do not compare me with a tank battalion; a panzergrenadier battalion is far more acceptable. I am not a U boat commander and neither am I gay.
