Heh. Of course, IIRC, there's no tiger in that scene. That looks to me like the moment before they shoot up the train yard, and the most dangerous thing in the yard was a quad 20mm. Doug |

One of my fav movies !!!!! Oddball was tactically savvy enough to know not to take on no 'n Tigers !!!! Kelly: Well Oddball, what do you think? Oddball: It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers. Big Joe: Hey look, you just keep them Tigers busy and we'll take care of the rest. Oddball: The only way I got to keep them Tigers busy is to LET THEM SHOOT HOLES IN ME! |

I know there wasn't a tiger in that scene I just like his face going grim and buttoning up. |

At least they tried to make it look like a Tiger… |

"To a New Yorker like you, a hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Tigers!" |

Always with the negative vibes, Moriarty. As long as you've got Clint riding your Sherman you'll be fine. Helps if you remember not to load paint for your first shot, though. |

Still one of the best WW II movies ever made. |

"When we was in the bocage country, we was assaulted by them Tigers!" "You know what I mean by "assaulted"? Well, I mean assaulted!" |

I still hold out a modest hope of one day running a Kelly's Heroes game at a convention. All of the buildings available now in 28 mm or in 20 mm make it a more likely prospect. It is more of an issue of time and money. |

6mm would make it even less expensive … |

6mm would make it even less expensive … evil grin Painting Oddballs beard would be fiddlier though! :-) |

Fair point Legion 4 but come on you want to have the personalities there and have the Artizan figures for crying out loud. |

That scene is just after the USAAF has bombed the bridge he was planning on crossing the river with. The clue is the binocs. Plus, youtube has the full railyard attack sequence :-) |

Very True Whitemanticore, you want to have figures that actually kind'a look a bit like the troops ! In this type of game ! Some company made some in 25mm(?), that would work for Kelly, etc … can't remember who made'm ? Wait … found the link here – TMP link |

"We see our role as essentially defensive in nature. While our armies are advancing so fast and everyone's knocking themselves out to be heroes, we are holding ourselves in reserve in case the Krauts mount a counteroffensive which threatens Paris… or maybe even New York. Then we can move in and stop them. But for 1.6 million dollars, we could become heroes for three days." |
