Good Ground, owner of Cracker Line Miniatures and Plank Road Miniatures, has returned from a successful Historicon. There are still a few days left to take advantage of our July sale. All sales over $50.00 USD receive a 10% discount, an extra mounted officer and a free flag set.

Our next stop is HMGS South's Hurricon in late September. Our latest release, Cracker Line Confederate Mounted Cavalry, will be available at Hurricon. We hope to see you at our booth.

Dang! Wish I'd been in that game.

What rules were they using?

Good stuff Bill. Interesting outcome. If only the martian tripods had intervened…

@Yellow Admiral – we used classic Brigade level Fire & Fury.

@Mickey – I doubt even tripods could have saved the Yanks.

are these 10 or 15mm?

ACWBill06 Aug 2014 11:49 a.m. PST

All my figures and buildings are 10mm.

All I can say about Historicon was GREAT! So many great games not enough time for them all.

Actually am going to have to call Bill out on this one. What he does is paint 28mm and then put in a special box and shrink down to 10mm. Honestly if you ever have the pleasure of seeing one of Bill's games, let alone play in one, you will be amazed at exactly how much detail he paints on these figures. Of course helps he starts with some excellent miniatures.

"What he does is paint 28mm and then put in a special box and shrink down to 10mm."

That doesn't seem cost effective. But if he could put war gamers in the box and shrink them down, he could make millions….especially from their wives. XD
