I have three magazines with historical boardgames that I've had for years. They are:
1) Strategy & Tactics (#148) "Cropredy Bridge: A Fleeting Victory."
2)Strategy & Tactics (#173) "The Thirty Years War: The Great War 161-48."
3)Game Fix (#5) Rob Markham's "Winceby: Battle of the English Civil War."

All three are in great shape and the markers are intact. Maps are in good shape.

Where can I get some idea of prices.

Thanks – Hal

Very true – I've picked up plenty of S&T Ebay bargains. Usually ~£5ish (~$7.50), but it does depend on the game (a bit).

But you have to learn to let the ones going for silly money get away!

$7 USD to $10 USD is about right. You can google the magazine title and bgg to get the names. Here is Cropredy Bridge. link Several are on sale now.

I sold a lot of them a few years ago and started the bidding at, I believe, something like five bucks apiece. The market will drive the price.

I usually check boardgamegeek.com when I am curious about any type of game. Use the search facility to find the game's main page and look for the Marketplace section showing the asking price from a number of BGG users who are trying to sell the game.

All of those games have entries and a list of people selling it. That isn't surprising for S&T but even the Winceby one has 5 people with it on offer.
