I have several of Rebelminis Scourge models. For those of you that don't know, these look a lot like Terminators from the movies. I would like to add some tanks, walkers, or other vehicles. Any ideas? I have some Epic 40k Knights that might work, but I really want some tanks. I appreciate the input. |

Look at the 1/144th scale heavy gear walkers. There are a bunch of those that would work well for Scourge tanks. |

There's the Minimates Hunter Killer if you are looking for a larger piece:

@Chief Lackey Rich: Those Ravenstar walkers look nice. Their website is not very nice though. Do you have a link for where those can be purchased? @Cloudcaptain: I like that toy. I assume I would need to search the ebay for those. Any idea what they run? |

There's the Minimates Hunter Killer if you are looking for a larger piece:
Since machines would likely go for substance over style…I personally would find an easily obtainable hull shape and kitbash off of that. Have the designs be modular but built on the same chasis. No hatches…lots of communication gear.. |

Sean, agreed, his site's a nightmare. You can try his blog ravenstarstudios.blogspot.com for more images (that's where I lifted the photos from) but to order you have to play email tag. He'll send over an e-catalog by request if you contact him here: ravenstarstudios@charter.net |

Odd…my edit became a separate post. Sean, They are generally less than $20 USD and you can still occasionally find them as old stock at Toys R Us. Check the isle with all the movie action figs. |

@Chief Lackey Rich: Thanks I will drop him an email. @Cloudcaptain: Do you know how big these are? Would they fit for 15mm tanks or would they be titan scale? Either is fine as it might be a good super heavy piece if it is that big. @liedang: I will check out heavy gear stuff to see if anything looks appropriate. Thanks again for the ideas guys. |

I've been thinking about using this. link He does them in both 15mm and 28mm. I'm tempted to get a couple of each. |

Here is a link to the caprice faction of the heavy gear. link They are about right as tank equivalents. The small ones are about right for light 15mm tanks and the large ones for large 15mm tanks. |

@sean They are probably around super-heavy tank range. Pretty much spot on in scale for 15mm (though a bit fatter than the movie version).

cool. if it had a ramp in front or back it could carry troops. |

Smaller than a dictator but still lots of fun as a 15mm death dealin' machine is Reviresco's Dreenoi "Cockroach" walking tank, two of 'em shown here with some Old Glory 15mm sci fi troopers for scale:
At $10 USD a whack, the Cockroach is a really good deal IMHO, with the added bonus that you can easily modify it into a crewed vehicle by simply adding some obvious access hatches.
Oh, and Reviresco makes a number of robots in 1/72 scale that could potentially do well adapted to 15mm: tin-soldier.com/robots.html tin-soldier.com/warbots.html The Decapillar is among my favorites, being essentially a robotic centipede that can tunnel thanks to the Slaver Disintegrators mounted in its head:
Hope this helps! Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net |

Wow, that Cockroach looks a lot like a robotic toy I've lying around for years. Almost said 'laying', but I've not seen any eggs, yet… Unfortunate part is the wobbly plastic legs, mind you. You're right; at $10 USD, Tin Soldier's are worth it to avoid the extra work. Doug |
