The Tholian destroyer is one of the smallest ships capable, though not always, of winning some of the "monster" scenarios due to reasonable shields and very high maneuverability. I don't remember which monster ship had the random firing weapon depending on which 60 degree arc you were in but the Tholian could stay within one arc and delivery moderate damage and not get hit by the additional weapons as it could avoid the additional shot(s) upon crossing the arc boundary. |
