I resently picked up a large collection of Corgi Fighting Machines M1A1 and M1A2 Abrams tanks for wargaming. These were released a few years back. They measure about 3" in length (not including turrent). Can anybody give me an idea of what scale these are? I was thinking 1/100. Any ideas??????? Thanks

Well the M1 hull is 7.93 metres, so 1:100 = 79mm, which converts out to 3 7/64, so it depends how "about" 3" they are.

If they're a squidge over 3" hull length, that's roughly 1/100 scale. A real Abrams hull is 7.93m long, per wikipedia.

At 1/87 scale, they'd be 91mm long, and 1/144 scale they'd be 55mm long.

Or if they are just under 3", they are 'box scale'

They are 3-1/16". So I would say that is about perfect for 1/100 scale. Thanks!
