Anthony and I finally managed to find the time to play a second TSATF game with our 54mm NWF collections. I had managed to build some more scenery so we played on an 8' x 5' table. Full report here: mikelewis.info/littlewars/?p=322 Mike |

Absolutely beautiful and very inspiring. Your terrain is particularly nice. In my opinion nothing looks quite as good as a well done 54mm game--there's something about the scale that just makes it special. Thank you for sharing! |

This is very nice! I'm also working on this project. I haven't progressed past the buying the figs stage yet. The hills/mountains are my first big hurdle. Then painting up everything. Rules are not decided on yet either. Thanks, John |

54mm have a certain magic to them :) I like the mountains that used to be on the Major General's site. Basically flats with ledges glued on back for firing miniatures. A picture of them exists here: nirya.be/snv/thill.html |

Another great game with our favourite set of colonial rules. We used 10-man infantry units and five-man cavalry units, and as Mike has mentioned elsewhere we kept the standard measurements. After our first game I based my figures on individual bases of 40mm x 40mm with the result that they cried out to be formed in neat close order lines. Next time I must resist the temptation and advance in open order and even use a few scouts…. Anthony |
