Actually, I can appreciate the bases. But this is why I don't like decorative bases. Those would look really good on some grassy red planet, or possibly a 70's shag carpet. But they stick out on deck. Or snow. Or regular desert. Or water (that isn't red and furry). I like the figures. Civvies doing civvy things. I like scenarios with lots of civilian targe… er … personnel to protect. It's nice if you can easily tell them apart visually because they are not armed to the teeth. |
