I repainted those transformer Republic tanks. Not for Clones but for any scifi army. Anyway, thought I would share. Not a big fan of transformers, but the Droid tanks, Republic Gunships and Republic hover tanks go in scale with the WOTC minis.

Looks nice. Could we see a picture of them next to a WOTC mini or some other figure for scale?

Those look awesome!! Well done. They make the originals look absolutely horrible. Do you have any tutorials on how you did them? Thanks for sharing.

I love the new camo paint jobs. I'll bet an urban grey/blue/white/black camo would look equally good.

Thank you!

Basically, I took my black spray paint, then grey primer on one set. Then put camo on the other set using black, green and brown with spray cans. I painted up the the detail using some yellow. Made a few explosion marks using black and silver. Pretty simple stuff. It took me about 3 hours to paint them tonight. Pretty easy.

I will post a scale pic momentarily.

Here are some pic comparisons. I had a few miniatures sitting around to use. Here they are with some stormtroopers.

Sorry the pics are not the greatest, it was a little too dark in my game room. But I wanted to post some scale pics for anyone that can use them.

Cheers!

Oh man, those scale up really well and look great! Thanks again.

They work well with them. I have some other comparison, with what I had, some AT-43 and Battlefield Evolution Marines.

Tom, global question--how do you store your (obviously) massive collection? I am especially curious concerning the many cool terrain items you have. Do you have just a lot of space or are there some tricks you can share for saving room?

I have the garage, and many shelves. A lot of them came from where I work. But also under the table is a network of tunnels of terrain. So I a become a tunnel rat when I go hunting for some terrain. I try to get most of the small stuff on the shelves but the bigger stuff goes under the table. I also made a huge wooden box to store my mountain terrain. I have no room left. I made some space this past week selling some star wars toys, but not much. I almost need to make a map of where I put things under the table, because I forget sometimes, and takes me awhile. I lost 4 large greek ships under the table a few months back and found the last week while under the table. Pretty funny.
