Yes, I know of the caveman thread here. But I'm looking for more than just cavemen – and cavewomen. What about the beasts? What about the architecture? Tried Barber's Settlers today – so how about berry pickers and flint miners? The bushes and the flint pits are easy enough to scratch. And how about a comparison of rules, Settlers versus Tusk? Other rules. Really enjoyed the Settler game but wondering if something out there is better – and faster (didn't like the one person goes at a time element, though it did make for a relaxed game – modified somewhat by the game master). And remember, in 15 mm. (on that other thread there was some Ral Partha figures referenced – but were they really 15 mm and currently available?) So, any constructive help appreciated. Thanks! |

Khurasan has a small prehistoric animal range and Mick Yarrow Miniatures has an intersting Ice Age range. Copplestone has wolves, cave bears and various standing stones. Splintered Light also has a few animals. |

A number of the Copplestone Barbarian and Northlancers Characters can be easily modified into Cavemen with relative ease. |
