I dug out some of my old 40K collection today. Have been in a photo mood. A good way to end the summer break. Won't have time until Christmas holidays to do this again.

1st (RT)/2nd ed orks were slightly bonkers to say the least, and Gorkamorka – shame a lot of that was lost. Lovely models btw :D

I just commented to the owner of my FLGS that outside the new gretchin, all the new orcs lack any personality whatsoever. Those are all great!

Thanks y'all for all the compliments! I'm hoping my head doesn't swell to "Maudi Gras head" size. If so, my wife is good in smackin' me down to size when that happens..LOL

I agree that 2nd edition was the most fun. I just got tired of having to bring along a tort attorney to interpret the rules and play against goofs that would rip open a blister pack, borrow the LGS' glue, put the unpainted mini on the game table, want to proxy it for something else and bee-atch about ME being the "elitist paint National Socialist" when I told them to put it back in their box; I had a miniature for them to use. My thinking is that others really liked having FUN with 2nd edition and we can generate some interest from folks that haven't taken their 40K out of the box in years. Time will tell.

Always loved the Old Skool Orks they had so much zanniness and character. It appears that GW is attempting to bring that back.
