hi, as I understand it the division was equipped with 75mm M4 Shermans as its main tank, as I understand it they did not get 76mm variants. however did it receive easy 8's or Jumbo's? also did the Régiment Blindé de Fusiliers Marins ever replace the M10 for anything else? ie M18's thanks jon |

They did receive M4A3 (76) as replacement vehicles – there are a good number of such both documented and photographed. Most of their tanks were M4A1 and M4A2 with the 75 though – no to Jumbos and Easy 8s afaik, ditto for anything other than M10 TDs. |

Original equipment for the 2e DB was all M4A2/75. During the course of the campaign in NWE they received M4A3s as replacements for lost vehicles. Mainly 75s, but 15 76s as well as a single M4A3E2/75. M4A3/105s were also received as they became available. All these repacements were from US Army theatre reserves rather than lend-lease proper. The RBFM retained M10s until wars end. No M18s or M36s.
