HMGS South is holding its flagship con, Hurricon, in Orlando that weekend. I invite all gamers in Florida and the Southeast to come and enjoy. We run games of all genres, the hotel is only $79 USD a night, and it is across the street from, and near, the theme parks. Disney World is 15 minutes away, Universal is around the corner, and Wet and Wild Water Park is across the street. There are many top notch restaurants within walking distance. We have historical, fantasy, sci-fi miniature gaming, as well as RPG and board gaming. We have tournaments for some of the most popular rules. We have vendors bringing a variety of products at competitive prices. Its a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere with games and activities for the whole family. We have some of the hobby's best game masters, including the great Bill Moreno. If you are looking for a great time, you won't be disappointed.

For those of you who may not have been able to get to Historicon our guest of honor, Bob Moon, will be running his absolutley stunning Gettysburg game at Hurricon.

In addition Stan Kubiak is coming out to run all 3 aerodrome games. I had the pleasure last night of playing his new 3.0 which is the Korean War era game and you dont want to miss this.

AND, in addition, as if that isnt enough, a special The Sword and The Flame weekend to include several games by the orginal poster here Nick as well as several others.

As soon as I get back home and get a chance there will be an update to the ever expanding Game Grid (PEL) as well.

is it too late to add a game?

Pre registration for Hurricon is still open. This entitles you to pre reg for games as well. I expect Friday night's Boxer rebellion game and The Wind and the Lion game to be tough to get into at the con. If you are interested in either one I suggest you pre reg. Otherwise contact Jeff or myself.

We accept game submissions up through the first week in September. We publish and updated game grid every few days until the cut off when the list goes final. Our members prefer to see games as they are added. Our final list tops 100 games. So no, not too late at all!
