The Red Captains staged another big Mars game based on Space 1889 today. 15 total players.

Check out the last couple of pictures to see all the forces that could have been used in the game.

Lots of destroyed units. It ended up as a draw.

Great looking game. I need to play in one of these..What shop were you playing at?

I don't have any info on this battle, but I wrote one up from a similar event several years ago if you are interested.

It is a fictionalization of a game that was played at Cold Wars. The encounter is about a two dozen steam powered space ships fighting it out in the skies of Mars. The rules set used was "Fleet Battles by Gaslight", written and run by Christopher Palmer.

Maybe in a few years after retirement. Then we can just do roadtrips. :)
