Larry, I started years ago with 1/72 but too big to get big battles (and I like big battles!). I did try 6mm with modern and GHQ are really nice but you just can't see the detail from any distance but to be honest it was mainly the tiny infantry that I didn't like (while I like 6mm for Napoleonics the bright colours make it work for that period). I got some 1/144 scale plastic pre-painted tanks and then decided I liked the scale and have gone a bit mad since! |

Having just acquired a big pile of Pendraken figs, the 10mm stuff really is excellent. |
