Kingmaker Games is looking to regroup and relaunch their Kickstarter campaign for War Prime. They've posted up a pre-funding campaign website to check out.

"Our sci-fi tabletop miniatures game is almost ready to launch. For our game, we are creating a new line of sci-fi miniatures for affordable prices. Our goal is to give war gamers an awesome alternative for larger scale battles set in the far future."

Lovely, a map featuring a "Forgoten Prison" and fluff text that betrays a complete ad utter lack of understanding or willingsness to research even basic astrophysics.

Even if the figs were to turn out nice, I wouldn't get my hopes up for a quality game.

Yeah…somebody forgot how to physics here. "…triggering massive planet sterilizing solar flares, collapses into black holes, or even supernovas."
I just don't even.

it's space fantasy… no "science" in this fiction.

I may pick up for the figures, or if the system is fun to play. But the "Fizzicks" and story are of little interest to me

My thoughts exactly…. The figures looked decent until I clocked the medieval zweihander clutched in the officer's hand, at which point I thought, "Oh, THIS Bleeped text again…?"
