Hello all,
I add some photos about my last job.
They are: Le Berwick 74-gun, HMS Belleisle 74-gun and San Francisco de Asís 74-gun. I hope you like them.

Astoundingly good work.
The sails – are they etched brass, or cast metal?

jgibbons18 Jul 2014 5:32 p.m. PST

I like the ship's boat being towed behind… Nice!

Thank for your comments, I glad it likes.

Julian you do outstanding paint work but you are still rigging all of your ships British style regardless of nationality. Since you are a commercial enterprise with very high ship prices, I would think your clientel would prefer their ships to be as historically accurate as possible.

Lovely paint job, Julian. I too like the ships boats. I did not wish to say about the rigging, but as Vol has posted about it. I must say it was the first thing I saw, British naval rigging! Sorry for the downer. All you have to do is is rig all the mizzen yard-arms to the main, and not to the top arm of the spanker/driver.

Hello Volunteer,
I appreciate the interest shown, but the stringing in ships of scale 1/1200 is an approximation of reality. You just have to see documentation about ships in eighteenth century for watching how much ropes carrying.
If it is true that I have to rig the mizzen yard-arms to the main, but the rope that I put it is not misplaced. I can show you pictures clearly showing the arrangement of these ropes.
Still, I will put in my new models the missing rope.
Thanks for watching.
Kind regards
Julián.

Hello Rory,

Thanks for the explanation, it took me a bit to understand the translation, but in the end I got it.
I appreciate constructive criticism.

Kind regards,
Julián

Thank you very much Rory. English is not my forte and may not understand the meaning. But do not worry, I know the intention is good.
