Thrilling Adventure is moving along nicely. With the initial artwork for the character cards done, I have managed to put the demo version characters together. They will probably still go through some revisions as I get the point system worked out. As you can see, the cards pack a lot of detail into a small space. The final demo version of the rules should be ready in the next month or so.
You can see more of the cards and read up on some details about the rules on our Facbook page or on our blog: link |

I hope it doesn't disappoint. The game has been about two years in the making and it's gone through many iterations. |

An updated .45 Adventure? |

It's not .45 but a new pulp game. It's got very different mechanics so I didn't want to call it .45 and confuse players. |

Can we build our own characters, or do we have to use the ones provided in the game? |

A little of both. The stats are set by the cards but you can equip them and give abilities as you want to customize them. |

The character stats will be set by the character card, however you can modify that character by choosing what to equip him with and what abilities to give him. If you look at the example below, The Gargoyle (let's consider him an archetype and not necessarily a character) has been given the Ambidextrous ability and Twin .45s as his build. If I wanted my main hero to be a former gunsel from a mob gang, maybe I give him the ability Tough and a Tommy Gun instead of Ambidextrous and theTwin .45s. He becomes a completely different character. And each faction deck will include multiple options for the heroes and units within it.
