Hi guys I wanted to give a compliment to widgetco.com

I bought a huge roll of cork 2mm (1/16) thick. I'm going to use it for tree stands for 15mm and etc. I thought it a good find and at 43$ USD, I could not pass. Fast service and shipping was free over 40$ (In the US)

Looks too flexible for basing. How do you use it?

Matakishi uses cork for his buildings.

You'd have to laminate it together, two or three layers thick with PVA, I'd guess, to get sufficient strength and thickness.

But – on the positive side – two or three sheets laminated with glue would probably be stronger tan a comparable thickness of solid cork. The glue would help, I would think.

That's a great find TC especially with the free P&p for you in the US.

30' is enough for a ton of projects. You might even do a a roll up table top , though as JT suggests you have to strengthen it with Pva + paper or find a roll of that strong 2" wide tape they use for carpets.

Thanks for the share
