Hereby I show the picture of WiP of VIP 15mm miniature. It's still WIP and some correction are planned.

If everything goes well it will be released in September on 3rd anniversary of Assault Publishing. It will be limited to to one production run, with no more than 99 pcs. in sale.
The miniatures are planned be sold as Bronze, Silver and Gold series.
66 will be "Bronze serie": just a miniature
25 will be "Silver serie" with authograph of sculptor and special anniversary gift
8 will be "Gold serie", everything like Silver, but there the people who purchase it will take part in special action: more details soon.

There will be also some "Platinum serie", which I'm going to keep as gifts for friends and for competition prizes.

Regards,
Marcin

I love the sculpt. If this is a one off limited thing then Ok. I don't like the hole limited run thing. But this limited run thing leaves me cold. If this is going to be regular it smacks of the chase card thing.. Really sorry but this kind of marketing drives me mad. Just lost me as a customer. I have made my personal views clear on this kind of thing with other manufactures. This is not the way I want to see this hobby go. Its your company do as you see fit but my money will be going someplace different if this is the plan for how you are going to sell your figures. Please I don't mean any offence. I am just letting you know how I feel and you have the right to think I am talking Bleeped text. If you do feel that I will not be offended. All the best.

OK, I understand, but before judge please take a look from my point of view.

It's a single special miniature, REALLY designed as gadget for anniversary based on one of my favorite illustrations (in such case the costs and efford are really high and probitability is doubful). As 15mm SF VIP is niche within niche article, I estimate that these Bronze stock will last for really long time. [Edit: I cannot order small amount of minis and there is little chance that such mini is casted again. I predicted that second run will be far below any economical calculation. So it's fairer to clearly mark miniature as limited.]

About the Silver serie: I cannot expect from scuptor that every time he will sign the tag and send it for me 300km when someone order it. Also I cannot go to marketing agency for gadget every time someone order it and they need to produce concrete amount.

And Golden serie is strictly connected with planned special action (I cannot reveal details now) and there is no other option to do it.

Marcin

It is a very cool miniature. I could see a lot of use for it, especially in scenarios.

@Inner Sanctum
What do you mean (sorry, English is not my mother tongue)?

@MrHarold
Yes, indees. The illustration was made for solitaire scenario "Protect the VIP" form the PMC 2640 rulebook… :)

VIPs and scifi civilians are honestly really RARE these days. Almost every model out there is visibly packing a weapon.

While I'm unlikely to buy a single mini (not at those predicted pricepoints), if you made a set of 8 or 16 different poses I'd be all over those!

Sadly, 28mm civilians are even harder to find.

The limited edition thing makes no sense to me, but it is certainly your decision.

I'd love to see more "just people" for modern 15mm, and even this fellow with a couple head swap options would go a long way.

Thanks for advise!
The including of civilians in the range is certeinly good idea, but note that I've just started and I need to build the core of the models. The development way of the range I've chosen is slow and expensive. If the sets I release now and these I planned for near future (2 or 3 more squads) start to pay-off I will consider SF civils. Physics and economy: the only two sciences you cannot obviate!
But I'm going to play lottery today and if I win a couple of thousand zlotys I promise to make civils! :D

After loosing 15 PLN on lottery I decided to play Lotto and try to win 20 millions of PLN (about 5 million of $ after taxation), so keep your fingers crossed for me. If I win main prize I promise to release the whole line of SF civilians :)
