Vehicles are probably the most requested expansion, so I've decided to take a stab at it and I've found a way to make it work pretty well, without losing track of the fact that we're playing a game at, essentially, point blank assault ranges.
It'll cover light vehicles (armoured cars, universal carriers, the occasional light tank, that sort of thing) and they certainly won't be bullet sponges.
It'll also be pretty "rivet agnostic". One of the benefits of really light vehicles like these is that either a weapon is a concern (.50 cal machine gun) or it'll be overkill (most any actual anti tank weapon).
This lets us mostly dispense with long lists of armour thickness and just get on with the game.
If figuring out the exact difference in armour penetration between a 20mm and a 37mm shell at 47 yards is your thing, you'll probably not be thrilled.
If you want to throw an armoured car on the table the next time your men go in to clear a German MG nest, I imagine you'll be just fine.
Stay tuned but the supplement will likely be at the end of this week, provided everything goes well.
It'll include a few other bits, including some suggestions for pushing the game up to squad level, the presence of bigger mortars for off table fire and a few other bits.
