Will have to judge myself in the future… These pictures hardly give you a feel. I only hope they also spend some money on the picture library annex! Btw… was there not always three naval barrels infront of the entrance or am I confusing that? |

Ok… Must have confused them with some other place then… Amazing how you can walk past them a dozen times and still your memory pays you tricks! |

Amazing how you can walk past them a dozen times and still your memory pays you tricks! I know what you mean, I don't remember them being surrounded by a small piece of parkland. |

We visited the IWM last October. It was open for several weeks during the construction. We did get to see the remarkable "The Lord Ashcroft Gallery: Extraordinary Heroes" which told the stories of of many of the heroes who were awarded the Victoria Cross or the George Cross. Words can't express the emotions and amazement we experienced as we read of the exploits and actions these men and women. If you get a chance to go to the IWM, The Lord Ashcroft Gallery: Extraordinary Heroes is a must see. Terry |
