As usual, I do not know whether there are going to be requests regarding assigning people next to their buddies, and that sort of thing. As always, we will try to accommodate you guys, but to make life easier for us all, please be sure to mention this to us when you check in, and if at all possible, check in at the same time.

I'm taking my laptop to the Con, so you can shoot me an email to let me know in advance. Send it to [ bumbydad@gmail.com ] and put WALLYS BASEMENT in the title.

Thanks, and see you there.

Don't forget Chris; HE HAD A HAT!!

Best of luck to you with all the fleas this weekend, I'm sure thousands of dollars will be exchanged there, then the sellers will do as usual; RUN, not walk……………..right past the dealer hall to their cars and off to the bank to deposit the dough.

Awesome, what a concept.

And that, "she's one lucky broad."

She sure is……………and also, IT'S THE ONE ON THE RIGHT!!!

Double G, the majority of the people that make money in the flea market proceed to spend it in the dealer hall. That has been my experience and the experience of most of those I know at the shows. No flea market, no money to spend with the dealers.

Bumbydad, thanks for your efforts running the Hcon flea market! As I recall in the past we could show up and pick a table. Is that still the plan of action? I (and most people I talk to) love it that way.

How early can sellers get in to set up their table?

vonLoudon16 Jul 2014 7:33 a.m. PST

True, I have spent my profits in the dealer hall. Lately I try to bring more home thanks to you know who.

We generally open up about an hour before the session starts. This can get tricky for an afternoon guy if the morning guy is screwing around in getting his stuff packed up, but we generally try not to assign the same table back to back unless space gets short. Also, we rarely have people create a genuine problem in packing up anyway--although there was one wiggler last year that almost got thrown out the door with his stuff because he basically told us to stuff it when we pointed out the session had ended quite a while before and he had not even begun to pack up.

As for asking for a table, yes, we will assign the tables as people check in, so if they want a particular table and it hasn't already been assigned, we accommodate them.

Perfect Chris. If it hasn't already been said before you guys run an excellent event, nearly flawless and with excellent support and attention to both sellers and buyers. We appreciate that. It probably doesn't get said enough.

Assigning tables as we check in is perfect.

Jpipes; so you're the guy?

Thanks, always wondered who that guy was…….

Chris,
Hope you can break away from the fleas long enough tomorrow to join us for dinner, stop by and say hello if you can, always look forward to you dose of convention humor.

Humor/sarcasm/comedy, which is how my comments were intended here…………which resulted in about 20 stifles and a bunch of ignores.

Jesus; seriously fellas?

So what's the difference between a stifle and an ignore; what's the reason for two ways to avoid what someone says here anyway?

Awesome, this place is all sunshine and lollypops now isn't it………..
