I've been waiting for over a year a while for an update to Necromundicon (Ironhands.com), my favorite wargaming site for what must be almost 20 years and Mr. Patten has delivered! A second campaign log with pictorial, narrative reports on 10 different sessions. Here's just a few of what must be 100+ great pics over the course of the campaign.

ironhands.com/votomscampaign.htm My mind has been blown again! I'm going to spend some time pouring over the pictures as I work on my own sci-fi terrain. My only real annoyance is that there's some great minis and terrain (a new sci-fi train engine a couple of spaceships and some huge city walls,etc, etc, etc) that aren't covered separately (materials used, how-to, etc) the way most of his other creations are. |

Those are cool! I used to visit Necromundion waaaaay way back and had forgotten about that site. Nice to see he's still doing cool stuff! |

I just finished reading these and then I went and reread last years campaign.
Love the narrative, but I wish he'd do a piece showing a bit more of the game mechanics so I could get a better feel for the rules.

Strozie, I agree.
I've considered trying some of his various rules now and then, but It'd be really nice to have kind of a play-through or tutorial for them. They seem well thought out, but there aren't any play examples or much in the way of illustrations. |
