a) Which person you choose to go if you only are allowed to bring a guest? My wife, she might be fantastic eye candy but she also rolls great dice and still gets a kick out of how many men are confused by her taking part in the hobby. b) What kind of food you would take (given that everyone should bring something to eat). Brats maybe, who knows, entirely dependent on there being fire to cook on. c) Same about a drink (only allowed to bring one) A good scotch or Irish whiskey. d) What would be your first words when you're face to face with Bill? Hey there. e) Which miniature unit or model you take there, since one of the conditions for access to the party is to bring something related to the hobby. I kinda figure bringing my wife would count since not many men can say their wives willfully participate in the hobby. Otherwise, a copy of a project I've been working on the last 5 years. f) As a courtesy to Bill, what would be the little gift you'd take it? Not sure, don't know him too well so it is hard to pick a gift. Likely random figures that I doubt I'll ever paint. One man's unpainted figures are another man's… unpainted figures. Curiosity: Do people with sock puppets bring two guests or three? Also, we aren't gonna be assigned table seating by "primary board of participation" are we because the Napoleonic boards get a little rowdy at times and by 'at times' I mean continually ;-) Cheers, The Bandit |
