Interesting new RPG Kickstarter from Goodman Games: link Sounds like a nice pulp setting with overtones of Edgar Rice Burroughs mashed up with classic D&D. Not very expensive, either. |

I dunno. I'm not into RPG's anyway, but the description for this one sounds a bit sketchy. If I was going to buy it I would have to see it first and read a few pages before spending any money. Anyway, there's already a good SF/pulp era miniatures game titled "Fantastic Worlds" by Marc Anderson and published by Rattrap Productions which also published ".45 Adventures". Marc is a pulp era fan and the game works well for Flash Gordon and John Carter. It's also very modable if you want to create your own weapons and equipment. Can't ask for more than that. :-) |

I'm going to jump in on this one. I like Dungeon Crawl Classics and have all the Goodman modules for it so far. I'd rather just buy it than do Kickstarter but whatever… I've got no doubt the thing will be made. |

There are lots of pulp/scifi games out there, but more variety never hurts. Chaos on Cronos is by far my favorite for pure minis, Savage Worlds Slipstream is the best RPG one I've seen, but having a D&D crossover would still be nice for my retrogamer friends. |

I thought Slipstream was aimed more at Space Patrol type games… Purple Planet is more John Carter… or the Green Star series. |

Slipstream is more Buck Rodgers/Flash Gordon than Space Patrol to me, but it's all pulp scifi. My tastes are eclectic. Besides, Savage Worlds is very adaptable, and they've done two books on other versions of pulp Mars. |

GURPS has a nice supplement, Tales of the Solar Patrol link , which covers the Buck Rogers and Space Patrol stuff. |
