Wargames Factory expands their American Revolution range with the release of their new Continentals box set. And my question is: Which is the color blue you have to used for more accurate in their jackets.? From here link Thanks in advance for your guidance. Amicalement Armand

Any blue dye would have faded in the weather. I just use any dark blue.

While these are pretty, I think the blue is a little bright. Boy I wish I could paint like that…

I would use a mid-range blue and then apply a wash They certainly are well painted

Apologies about the blue being too bright, I had the same problem with the Brits. The camera saturates the colors a bit but they're a bit too bright in person.

The pictures give them a certain Technicolor quality that I find a bit charming.

Blues are notoriously difficult to photograph (in this instance, they would make great Bavarians!). It is worth noting that dark blue (assuming it's an indigo dye) fades to a grey/violet hue, not bright medium blue.
