Wargames Factory expands their American Revolution range with the release of their new Continentals box set.
And my question is: Which is the color blue you have to used for more accurate in their jackets.?

Any blue dye would have faded in the weather.
I just use any dark blue.

While these are pretty, I think the blue is a little bright.
Boy I wish I could paint like that…

I would use a mid-range blue and then apply a wash

They certainly are well painted

Apologies about the blue being too bright, I had the same problem with the Brits. The camera saturates the colors a bit but they're a bit too bright in person.

The pictures give them a certain Technicolor quality that I find a bit charming.

Blues are notoriously difficult to photograph (in this instance, they would make great Bavarians!).

It is worth noting that dark blue (assuming it's an indigo dye) fades to a grey/violet hue, not bright medium blue.

Agree about the Bavarians my friend.
