So I am starting a mecha line in the near future, got the first render in.
The models will be about 45mm tall, multipart with modular limbs. The plan is currently resin cast with receses for magnets (I'll be including a kit of proper sized magnets)

Anyways, please drop feedback!

I like the small head, but the crotch needs to be less…pronounced. I also like the rounded shoulders and chest.

I like the built-in magnet idea. My drill skills are not as good as they used to be.

Cool looking thing! I think it looks good, but I agree with Stryderg about the pelvis, if you scale it down a bit I think it will look even better!

Will there be previews of the modular arms coming up as well?

Hands need to be scaled up, if they are articulated on real life their current size would really restrict their para rival use, about 100 % bigger I would say. However this does not detract from an overall great design, well done

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I'm taking notes over here ;)

Honestly, I assumed the hands would be for utility use mostly, let's face it, fingers are pretty brittle for punching things. If I had a robot, I'd have the hands move out of the way before it hit stuff.

Dementation. We are going to make a second full unit soon so you can see how the parts swap. All heads, arms, legs, and shoulder mounts should be compatible with all the torsos meaning you can design your mecha however you want.

So if you are using these for a large battle game for instance, you could use the same torso and heads for Faction A, and then a different set for Faction B so they'd look different at a glance, but then out fit them with different legs and arms for different roles.

Here is some concept art of the future models though, a couple shots showing how they are modular.
