Completed an army some time ago but it turned out short of close combat troops, so picked these up cheap and added them as 2xBlades:

Never thought of doing 40k HOTT. Sure, why not? :)

Those are the original Eldar Banshee. They're Oop and have always been real nice. I have about 10 of those and two Exarchs and their Phoenix Lord ain Zar. I painted them just like that too. In second Ed. they used to cut down everything in their way.

No disrespect intended towards the paint job, which is quite good, but they look like a platoon of bad ass Bozo the clowns.

darthfozzywig; a careful look on e-bay can still turn up gems at good prices. No latest codex stuff but who cares, it's HOTT not 40K. All mine are on here:

Papa Sync; that's why I got 'em, I'm a traditionalist at heart, even to the codex paint scheme! :)

John; what can I say, except to paraphrase Pope and say I'm damned by faint praise.

Would you rather be praised by faint damns?

A rose by any other name… take it where you can get it.

In second Ed. they used to cut down everything in their way.

So very true, but today in 7th Edition well they can barely even put a dent into a Space Marine and are lucky if they don't get shot off the table.

NIce figs. Too bad to hear that they are so weak now. I recall 2nd edition where they were quite a threat.

Well since the Mask does hardly anything now and they are only strength 3 they need 5's to wound anything that is toughness 4.

The days of them being powerful are long gone, like 15 years long gone.
