Following on from the post the other day about the Airfix model of the carrier without fighters…. it seems the F-35 also failed to make a [flying] appearance at Fairford, and will also miss Fanrborough link The F-35 combat jet, due to be used on the UK's new aircraft carriers, will not make its UK debut on the opening day of the Farnborough Airshow. |

What about a Buccanner S.1 versus an current-prototype F-35? That might be fair. In other words, look into the development of the Buccaneer, which had its fair share of complications. Or maybe the TSR-2, simply to illustrate that not everything in life works out, and that reality isn't present for only one country's technological establishment. |
