That's magic. Well done.

I think it looks great.

A very cool vehicle that every gamer has.

I always thought it was funny as the German only made a couple hundred of them, but they are well represented on the game table.

Yup, very realistic. Very good!

How fortuitous! I was just about to try my hand at using cheese cloth for some camo netting. I like the effect you've managed a lot. How'd you do it?

Thanks for all the feedback guys its warmly welcomed

ochoin, Don Perrin and War In 15MM thank you all for your very kind words, I wasn't sure to begin with but it seems to do the job nicely

Oddball your spot on, its such an icon of WW2 it would be wrong not to have one or in my case two! I'm getting into vehicles more and more, so a third one is a very real possibility.

28mmfanatik, its the ITALERI version (1/48 scale of course) lovely little kit to build. Looks spot on to me! But then again I'm no expert

My good friend Robby, its a crepe bandage! Or a support bandage the kind you can pick up to put in a first aid box. It came from a local shop (wilkinsons) or wilkos, I'm guessing they are UK based only but for 70pence it was worth a punt! It came in a clear wrapper so I had a good idea how big the mesh size was before I bought it. It's got a blue elastic edge on both sides which I cut off, then watered down vallejo military green and soaked the piece I had cut off in it. Once its taken on the colour nicely gently give it s slight stretch. Mop off any excess paint with a dry brush. Then leave it to dry completely, once dry smear the side you want to stick carefully with PVA glue, this will help give it more flexability and of course stick it down. You will have to help it take the shape of what's underneath, I use a biggish paint brush to help it take on the contours of what's underneath, then its a case of leaving it to dry. Once dry trim off any bits that don't look right, you may also need to carefully touch up the green here and there, then its just a case of dry drushing a colour of your choice, I use graveyard earth or vallejo us field drab

So hope that helps, I'm guessing any gauze bandage that has the right sized woven pattern will do the job nicely

So as always thanks for looking
Cheers for now Russ

braken,
Thanks for the info. I'm going to try to situate a camo net in front of my Pak 40. We'll see how it turns out…

Thanks Grossman I was worried it didn't stand out enough! But from all the feedback I've had I guess its a winner
