No pictures yet, but I was looking to find out the origin of 5 minis picked up in a bargain bin at LW and finally cleaned up today. They're all identical. A Chaos'ish warrior wielding a sword and holding a shield riding a bull. Between 25 and 28mm in scale. It's molded in silver-grey plastic (kind of like EM4 minis) the bull is two pieces and the rider and saddle is one piece. They all came assembled and pre-glued to a thin black base. My assumption is that it came from a game as it came pre assembled (though not very well) and IIRC there were other figures in the same plastic glued to the same thin black bases in the bargain bin. The quality and level of detail is just ok, roughly equivalent to the old Battlemasters figures. The good news is that they disassembled pretty easily. Now cleaned up with some work and mounted up on some 20x50 and once painted they should look good alongside the other Battlemasters figs in my bad-guy KoW army. Also, if anyone has some to unload, I might be looking for 5 more. |

It's from Carnage, an old Holistic Games product: link |

Thanks! Yep, those are the figs. Not a bad deal for the box, but I'll keep looking for separate figs. Looks like the game hasn't been touched by the developers since 2000. Apparently the figs are by Naismith, which would explain the similarity in style and sculpting to the EM4 plastic gangers and troopers. I really wish someone like EM4 would pick these figures up and make them available separately. They aren't amazing, but I think they'd appeal to the same sort of gamers who buy EM4's Fantasy Warriors monopose plastics. Basic figs for fantasy gaming armies. |

Yes, it is probably Carnage. I have the boxed set in my loft. Unfortunately I'm in the UK. |
