Is this seller for real? * unpainted Front Rank for $79 USD or buy it now for $139. USD Really. It has got to be a typo. Check it out: auction |

If that's the paint job, yeah I'd pay more for unpainted. :) |

It has to be typo. No one is that stupid to pay $139 USD for 8 FR figs. You can buy new for @ $16.00 USD |

These are the rare Special Edition™ figures that have unfiled mold lines and grainy primer. Worth every penny! |

There are suckers born every minute. Someone may in fact buy them at that price. Who knows? People still fall for Nigerian scams. |

Obviously out of touch with reality! |

Obviously out of touch with reality! Why? there are periodic free listings with one photo. Why not gamble? Not losing anything. And if it does not sell, it gets re-listed FREE automatically 3 more times. We're sitting here ridiculing, but if someone bids and "wins", who is the silly one then? |

A TMPer I have not seen posting in a while used to have a weekly "EBay Outrage!" thread. Well, sure. HE was too smart to bid on it, but so what? Someone else might. |

I believe these are from someone who thinks wargaming figures will have a collectors value like Wm. Brittain's figures. Maybe someday, but not in our lifetimes! I've melted down original range Minifigs and hinton Hunts for musket balls! |

Maybe someday, but not in our lifetimes! You're wrong about that. Go look at the selling prices on Ogre/GEV miniatures or practically anything from GW's Specialist Games range. Demand exceeds supply, and that's all it takes to produce some very silly prices. Historical ranges don't tend to see these kind of spikes, but they're also more prone to having multiple sources. It's manufacturers ending popular ranges and leaving buyers with no other source that generates the spikes on the secondary market. |
