Hi young sailors and old captain….

I suggest to play our old AIRFIX and HELLER 1/600 naval model kit when we'll play strategic mouvment until we'll reach our tactical 1/56 skirmish….

That looks wonderful. I am interested.

Mainly because I prefer 1/1200 (although I would consider 1/2000), because 1/600 are just too large and expensive for most purposes.

I'd do it but it's hard to find the Airfix kit cheap.

Some kits yes, some, no.

I don't play 1/600 naval because I am not a naval gamer. If I were inclined to naval gaming, I think I would go with Roman Seas from Eric Hotz in 1/300. I am a big fan of cardstock gaming and it would complement my plans for 6mm Ancients quite nicely.

With that said, your ships look wonderful and I hope you have amazing fun with them :-)

As Captain Yapudo says, I'm also considering this idea for pirate games: 28mm on land and near the coast, and very small ships on the sea.

After all, the ships look small when you see them from the coast; so if we use 28mm minis on land, and very small ships to play the battles on the sea (where they would have more space to sail), it could still look good? :)

Looks very nice, but as mentioned, availability and price are issues for me.

No kits that are easy to get and the range is limited.

I have some for fantasy and ACW. Age of Fighting Sail, not so easy.
