To stand in the road tethered to the roadside. Don't want to put cowboys on them So with saddle etc would be best? I think Irregular miniatures have some? Warbases have a new range but don't appear to have cowboy type horses? Andy |

Since you are in England, Bicorne Miniatures has horses and separate Western Saddles in the Connoisseur line. This allows you for a variety of different horses. |

While not "standing idle" another cheap and easy route is to buy a box of plastic Perry Civil War cavalry…comes with 12 plastic horses, all with saddle/saddlebags etc. However they are in action poses so they may not be quite suitable for what you're looking for. Cheap and easy though. |

Black Scorpion has some mounted cowboy that are separate from the horses, unfortunately the saddles are mounted on the cowboys not the horse but you can add it. And even cheaper are the link some are just standing and again add the saddle. |
